During the 2021 Fall show season, doing an onstage production was not an option due to state regulations at the time. Instead, director Kara Howard and the production team were able to put their minds and creative visions together resulting in what is now The Lion King Jr. Movie.

• MANDATORY PARENT MEETING: Tuesday November 4th, 2025 3:30pm-5:30pm

learn a ton of information!
• AUDITIONS: Thursday/Friday, December 4/5, 2025, 3:30pm-8:00pm by grade
• CALLBACKS: by invitation only: Monday, December 8th, 2025, 11:00am-4:00pm
• FIRST REHEARSAL: Monday, December 15, 2025 11:00-4:00

Thursday, March 19, 2026, 1:30pm (school show) and 6:00pm
Friday, March 20, 2026, 11:30am (school show) 4:00pm & 7:30pm
Saturday, March 21, 2026 12:00pm, 4:00pm & 7:30pm
Sunday, March 22, 2026, 2:00pm & 5:30pm
REQUIREMENTS:
• 6th-8th grade as of 2025/2026 school year
• Students MUST maintain a “C” or better in all subjects to be eligible for participation
• Limited to approximately 75 students. Lottery will be held now-October 31, 2025.
• 25 hours of parent volunteer time per child in show
• $260 NON-REFUNDABLE production fee per child which includes: script, costume
(to wear for show only. Shoes and undergarments not provided), show t-shirt, show digital download.
• Sell/buy 12, $18 tickets for the performance per child
• Attendance at all rehearsals (one excused absence allowed prior to February 19, 2026):
• Mondays 11:00am-4:00pm
• Tuesdays 3:30pm-5:30pm (6:00)
• Wednesday 3:30pm-5:30pm (6:00)
• Some Thursdays 3:30pm-6:00pm
(generally when there is a Monday holiday/field trip as well as a few weeks prior to Tech Week)
